Meet Meg

I am a trained spiritual director seeking to offer a confidential and nurturing space where those seeking to grow in their life with God can recognize the presence and leading of God in new ways. I am a graduate of Wellesley College, as well as of Selah, a two-year certificate program in Spiritual Direction. I have also completed 2 years of training through The Apprenticeship in the Spiritual Exercises offered by The Order of the Common Life. It is my joy to journey through the Spiritual Exercises as a Protestant Spiritual Companion.

I have received Spiritual Direction and supervision in different ways since 1991. The demands of intensive cancer treatments in 2004-2005 resulted in many profound lessons about the Goodness of God in the midst of suffering, which led me to train as a Spiritual Director from 2009-2011. I have since companioned others through various personal challenges and tragedies. These experiences have given me lasting insights into God’s love for us at all times.

My husband and I raised our family in Boston. Early in our marriage, we lived and worked in Spain for 4 years. From 2015-2021, we lived and worked in Puerto Rico. I speak Spanish and English. We have also worked summers in Nigeria, Kenya, and Rwanda. We now live in Durham, NC. I am delighted to offer Spiritual Companionship to believers anywhere, whether in person or virtually. I am deeply interested in each person’s story of faith and rejoice to walk with those who are navigating the various seasons of their life with God.
